Agent-to-agent trust infrastructure

The trusted conversation layer between organisations.

Your AI agents are about to negotiate, verify and transact with other organisations' agents. MCPLayer is the attested interchange they do it through - every party verified, every exchange governed, every message on the record.

Founding cohort limited to 25 organisations across banking, insurance and government.

The problem

Agents are ready to talk. Organisations can't trust who answers.

MCP made it trivial for agents to call external systems. It did nothing to establish who is on the other end, what they're allowed to exchange, or what was actually said.

NO IDENTITY

Anyone can publish an endpoint

An MCP server claiming to be a bank, insurer or agency is a URL, not a verified institution. Your agents have no way to tell the difference.

NO GOVERNANCE

No policy between parties

Once connected, there is nothing enforcing what data classes can flow, in which direction, under which regulatory obligations.

NO RECORD

No audit trail regulators accept

When an agent-negotiated outcome is disputed, "the model decided" is not evidence. Regulated entities need a sealed, replayable record.

How it works

Register. Publish. Converse - on the record.

The API gateway pattern, rebuilt for the agent era. Three steps from unverified endpoint to attested counterparty.

STEP 01

Register and verify your organisation

Legal entity checks, domain control, regulatory licence verification. Your organisation receives a cryptographic attestation - its passport on the network.

org attestation issued
STEP 02

Publish your MCP endpoints

Bring your existing MCP servers. Bind them to your attestation, declare data classes and scopes, set counterparty policies per vertical or per organisation.

endpoints bound + scoped
STEP 03

Agents converse through the trust plane

Every exchange is identity-checked, policy-enforced and sealed to an immutable audit ledger in real time. Revoke any party, any scope, instantly.

verified · governed · recorded
Platform

Four planes. One layer.

Everything a regulated organisation needs before its agents are allowed to speak for it.

Attestation registry

Know exactly who is on the other end

A verified registry of organisations and their agents. Entity verification, licence checks and key rotation - so "agent@bank" provably belongs to the bank.

Policy enforcement

Govern every exchange before it happens

Declarative policies on data class, direction, purpose and counterparty type - enforced inline on every message, not reviewed after the damage.

Context interchange

Structured conversation, not raw pipes

Schema-negotiated context exchange between agents, with redaction and minimisation applied at the boundary. Share what's needed, nothing more.

Immutable audit

Evidence, not explanations

Every exchange sealed to a tamper-evident ledger with full replay. Hand your regulator a record, not a rationalisation.

Security posture

Built to pass your vendor risk review

Designed from day one for the questionnaires banks, insurers and agencies actually send - not retrofitted after the first enterprise deal.
